Sosialisasi Olahraga Panjat Tebing Usia Dini - Fun Climbing

Ajang Sosialisasi Panjat Tebing Masuk Desa yang diberi nama " Climbing On Sunday Morning" diikuti oleh 77 Peserta dengan rincian usia sd sebanyak 50 peserta, smp 13 peserta dan sma 14 peserta. Jumlah ini diluar perkiraan panitia yang menargetkan hanya 50 peserta . 

Gelaran Climbing On Sunday Morning memang bertujuan untuk merubah paradigma panjat tebing itu ekstrem menjadi olahraga yang aman dan menyenangkan ntuk digeluti sehingga di awal kegiatan, panitia menjelaskan kepada peserta dan penonton yang hadir tentang jenis peralatan dan safety prosedur olahraga panjat tebing yang dilanjutkan demontrasi pemanjatan oleh atlet junior sleman yaitu Seto (12tahun) , Granida (11Tahun) dan Vita (9 Tahun).

Ketua Harian FPTI Sleman, Karis mengatakan, panitia menyediakan 3 jalur pemanjatan untuk setiap kategori SD, SMP dan SMA, namun peserta SD yang ingin mencoba di jalur SMP atau SMA dan sebaliknya diperbolehkan

Dari pengamatan tim pemandu bakat FPTI Sleman, setidaknya menemukan 2 bibit atlet yang menonjol dibandingkan dari yang lain. Penilaian berdasarkan antusiasme, motivasi, mental terhadap ketinggian serta gerakan dasar. Kedua nama tersebut adalah Sita dan Amal. Dari 2 nama ini ditambah 8 nama lain yang masih akan dirapatkan oleh tim pemandu bakat, akan terus dibina dan dilatih di Fitriyani Climbing Arena

Climbing On Sunday Morning - Fitriyani Climbing Arena Sleman

Dalam rangka melanjutkan sosialisasi olahraga panjat tebing, Federasi Panjattebing Indonesia (FPTI) Sleman akan menggelar kejuaraan panjattebing bertajuk  "Climbing on Sunday Morning"  yang diadakan di Fitriyani Climbing Arena Kompleks GOR Klebengan Sleman,  Minggu (20/04/2014).

Kegiatan ini khusus diselanggarakan untuk anak - anak usia 7 hingga 18 tahun sebagai kelanjutan program panjat tebing masuk desa dengan tujuan selain untuk sosialisasi juga untuk mencari bakat atlet sejak usia dini. Pemandu bakat akan memantau potensi dari setiap peserta untuk kemudian akan diberi penawaran untuk dilatih secara khusus oleh tim pelatih FPTI Sleman.

Ketua Harian FPTI Sleman, Karis  menjelaskan event 'Climbing on Sunday'  dikemas secara  fun dengan tagline " panjat tebing aman dan menyenangkan". Berbagai doorprize peralatan sekolah maupun peralatan olahraga alam terbuka disediakan panitia untuk menambah daya tarik agar banyak peserta yang berpartisipasi sehingga akan menjadi tontonan yang menarik bagi masyarakat di sekitar klebengan.

Selain memanjat peserta juga dimanjakan dengan "foto narsis". Panitia akan membuat jalur khusus untuk fotografer mengambil gambar dari ketinggian yang disebut "vertical Photography". Hasil gambar akan langsung dicetak ditempat sehingga peserta akan membawa pulang hasil foto diri masing-masing dengan harapan akan dipamerkan ke temannya di sekolah sehingga menimbulkan efek " Word of Mouth" bahwa panjat tebing itu aman dan menyenangkan
